Are you ready for the PARTY???
Yesterday, 30th August 2006....marks the history of the 1st batch of HTM students final examinations. Yahoo! That's the last and final exam we've got in our entire polytechnic career.Well, for many of my friends, that is the final exam of their life. But it would not be for me, its just the final exam in poly and the beginning of a new chapter of many more............EXAMS! Oh no! However, nothing comes without a price, and that's the price you have to pay for further studies. Looks like it'll probably be another 5 to 6 years of examinations for me...if I qualify for university.
The road to examinations came slightly easier as compared to previous semesters when we had to 5 papers, 2 per day and sometimes one at night. However, told myself that I had to do my best for the final lap. Been surviving on Passion Fruit Red & Green Bubble Tea the past few days, I discovered this new franchise called Sweetalk, guess the bubble tea trend would emerge in the coming months again.
Anyhow, I've got so much more to share but faced with time constraints I'll stop here for now.
Just so many things to do over the next few days: Medical & Dental check - ups, Yinsan's birthday party, HTMIG Masqued event, SA retreat at Siloso Beach Resort, FBMA meeting, Drama rehearsels and sending friends off at the airport.
Speaking off which, I too would be leaving Singapore on 12th September 2006. Excited? Hmm...not when my passport is not with me, air ticket unconfirmed, insurance not bought, vaccinations incomplete and I haven't even packed....I'm actually quite anxious, this would be the first time I live & work overseas..........for 5 months......but I reckon it would change my perspectives of the overseas economy and employability rates.....
