Following up
Ok, I must admit, I haven't blogged for a long time.Just a follow up on my last entry, I visited Hong Kong Disneyland the next day. Upon entry, you are transported to a whole new world. As it says on the front gates:
"Here you leave the world of today,
And enter a world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy."
Indeed, this famous quote by Walt Disney has touched and inspired many young minds. Although, I must say that Hong Kong Disneyland isn't as big as the one in Florida. But, the good news is, you're able to explore it all in a day's work.
We had a "fun" time queuing for rides, arguing with other guests, cruising down the treacherous river on a bumboat
What's best of all was the "food", surely, no Singaporean live without it. I had Ebi Tempura Bento and a German Sausage set. Spend about S$50 on it, but vomitted everything out at dinner. I haven't pigged that much in my life.
Life in Hong Kong was fun, why?
- Endless flow of food from the breakfast buffet, my favorite Ham & Mushroom omelette...
- Late night shopping till 1am
- The Club Floor
- Lady's Street (Its actually a flea market)
- The temperate climate (A relief from the tropical weather of Southeast Asia)
Anyway, I returned to Singapore with blocked ears, due to the improper de - pressurizing of the aircraft, as well as diarrhoea, which till now I have no clue to what the source is.
But I will miss that cosmopolitan city by the bay, throbbing with energy and bustling with vibrance.
2007 - Hong Kong Kowloon here I come!
